Water Heater Home Tip

Osceola Home InspectionWater Heater Tip from Osceola Home Inspector Buy Your Side:  Drain about a quarter of the water heater tank a few times a year to remove the sediment and debris. Hook up a garden hose to the drain valve and run until the water is clear. This also makes the water heater function more quietly and efficiently. If electric, turn off the power so you don’t damage the internal heating elements. Be careful, the water is going to be very hot. Take your time, and prepare. Maintaining your home is extremely important.

  1. Depending on your loan some require it to be done wtihin a few weeks of the offer. So yes you are correct they are done after the offer. However: your Offer should always be contingent on the home inspection. If you get some big ticket items that need fixing -you can either have the seller fix it prior to moving in OR have it deducted from the sale price. There is one thing you can ask though: If there have been previous offers on the house that have fallen through SOME banks will accept the previous inspection if done wtihin a certain amount of time.Good luckReferences : Literally just went through this Was this answer helpful?
